About Glasgow Coffee Festival

Glasgow Coffee Festival, held in the beautiful halls of The Briggait, has come a long way since launching in 2014 as Scotland’s first-ever coffee festival.

In 2025, we expanded into a second hall to welcome more exhibitors than ever and host the SCA UK Cup Tasters Championship final and Roast Hero competition. Over four sold-out sessions, 2,000+ coffee lovers enjoyed tastings, talks, workshops, and competitions featuring Scotland’s top cafés and roasteries. Sustainability stayed central to our festival: with BorrowCup, we saved 30,000 cups from landfill; 90 litres of used coffee grounds were repurposed with Revive Eco; no waste went to landfill thanks to Change Waste Recycling; and we remained a plastic bottle-free festival with Mossgiel. What a buzz!
