Best Roaster UK is a peer-judged challenge where every bean counts — a true test of the real-world skill, instinct and expertise of the world’s finest coffee roasters.
More than a competition, it is a celebration of the craft of UK based roasters.

MEET THE ROASTERS
competition format
Roasteries will need to apply to an open call, the spots will be filled in a first-come, first-served manner.
10 roasters compete by submitting the competition coffee,
plus a coffee of their choice from their own listings.
From there, each finalist roasts two coffees: a mandatory coffee provided to them, as well as a sourced coffee
they select themselves.
The coffees are blind cupped by all entrants and by our competition partners on Friday, 17th April.
The Best Roaster UK will be announced on Sunday, 19th April 2026.
