GCF 2026: Meet our charity partners

Alongside great coffee, GCF is about supporting the communities around us. We’re excited to tell you about our charity partners who will all be at the festival this weekend. You can read all about the amazing work they do here and where you’ll find them at GCF over the weekend.

Bike for Good

Bike for Good is a Glasgow-based charity and social enterprise making cycling more accessible, affordable and sustainable across the city.

Since starting out at the Barras Market in 2010, they’ve been refurbishing donated bikes, selling them at low cost, and running training, maintenance classes and community programmes to help more people get confident with cycling and repairing bikes.

Their mission is simple: get more people cycling, support healthier communities and make a positive impact on the environment.

Catch them at GCF with their amazing pedal-powered frappé bike, and take the chance to learn more about the brilliant work they do!

Kwetu Coffee

Kwetu Coffee is a Glasgow-based community interest company using coffee as a platform for social impact. “Kwetu,” meaning “our home” in Swahili, reflects its mission to create a sense of belonging while opening up opportunities for people from refugee, migrant, and underserved communities.

Through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience, Kwetu Coffee supports individuals in developing skills within the coffee and hospitality industry. This helps build confidence, improve employability, and create pathways into work.

Alongside its social mission, Kwetu Coffee serves high-quality speciality coffee through a mobile coffee cart at events, workplaces, and community spaces, creating valuable, real-world experience for trainees.

Kwetu Coffee will be exhibiting at the festival, so be sure to stop by. You can also catch them in the talks room on Sunday from 3:45–4:30pm, where they’ll explore how coffee can create skills, jobs, and community. They’ll also join the panel discussion “Who is sustainability really for?” on the GCF stage on Saturday.

1% for the Planet

We’re also super proud to be certified with 1% for the Planet. That means we commit 1% of our annual profit to support local Scottish environmental organisations, alongside projects creating impact across the coffee supply chain. If you’re buying a ticket for this year’s festival, you can show your support for 1% For The Planet by opting in for a £1 donation!

The groups we back are chosen with care, and we support them because of the meaningful change they’re making and the connection we have to their work.

Join our mailing list to hear more about our future festivals and plan your Glasgow Coffee Festival 2026 schedule here! We can’t wait to see you there!
