What’s on: Bean there done that
Bean There Done That comes to the Glasgow Coffee Festival 2026!
A platform for sharing knowledge, Bean There Done That is hosted by Preston-based coffee consultant, Oli Jones, and has evolved from talks to panels and workshops, all about coffee competitions and the community that surrounds it.
Keeping this event alive is really important to Oli, himself a competitor at many a national coffee competition. “I’ve made so many incredible and invaluable connections through comp, from chats backstage to high fives with volunteers, heart to hearts with organisers and shared doom and glee with competitors. Keeping this event alive is really important to me and to hear from countless baristas that have attended and gone on to compete (and crush it) is so rad”.
At GCF26, Bean There Done That will be a panel featuring 2 x World Championship finalists, multiple national champions, coaches, judges, and competitors across five different Specialty Coffee Association competition formats, squeezed into one single panel! Oli will be leading the conversation about what it takes to compete at the highest level, share some tips and tricks and discuss the impact of competing from a personal and professional level.
